Nothin’ but Treble

I would just like to say thank you to everyone who was able to make it to either of our two concerts this semester. This year has been lots of fun and we received a ton of compliments on our performance. Thanks for that! Unfortunately, it is time to say goodbye to our two seniors, Rachel Randman (former Publicity) and Whitney Sanzero (former Music Director). Both of them have made HUGE contributions to the group in the past year. They will definitely be missed.

Some good news is that we have elected officers for next year. Our true alto, Allison Hansson, has been elected Music Director. And yours truly is still the Business Manager. We also had many of our new members step up into other officers positions within the group including Tabatha Pilgrim, who has only been in the group for one semester.

This is such an exciting time for us! Having such a young group next year will certainly be a challenge, but has the potential to cultivate some new, innovative ideas for the group. We also hope to start recording for a new CD with more of our current repertoire. So, as I said before, this is an exciting time for NbT. I hope you will continue to support us as you have. And make sure you keep an ear out for our Fall concert dates!

Here’s all the info on our two concert dates this Spring!

Take 1:

• When: Saturday, April 12th @ 7:30 pm
• Where: Old Architecture Building

Take 2:

• When: Friday, April 18th @ 8:30 pm
• Where: LeCraw Auditorium, Management Building, Tech Square

How much???

• VIP ticket (priority seating): $10
• VIP ticket + 1 T-shirt: $15
• Regular ticket: $5

*Ticket prices increase to $7  for regular tickets and $12 for VIP tickets at the door, so buy in advance online or on Skiles the week before each concert!

**Special t-shirt pricing: If you buy your ticket prior to the day of either concert (online or Skiles) we’ll make the shirts $10 each! We will have a list of everyone who buys their tickets in advance, so you will be automatically eligible for the discount.

After quite a few designs and ideas, we (Rachel Randman) have designed super cool shirts! Heck yeah!!! Now you can show your support by sporting official NbT gear!

We will be selling the T-shirts for $12 individually. The front and back of our shirt is posted here.

Coffee mugs and mousepads will follow shortly…not really…we’re not that geeky!

Hey everyone!

Our  Spring 2008 concert dates are Saturday, April 12th and Friday, April 18th. Keep an eye out for times and ticket availability. Also, if you have not joined our mailing list, please email me at business@nothinbuttreble.com!

On a sadder note, one of our new members from Fall 2007 had such a wonderful time in Nothin’ but Treble but made a very difficult decision to transfer to North Carolina State University at the end of semester. We enjoyed her greatly, and we understand that it’s important to make the best choice for your college career and your future. Chandler, we love you and you will be greatly missed! If you are in North Carolina, however, you can see her performing with the NC State Packabelles!
